Job Requirements

Proven ability to operate in multi-disciplinary environment including finance, operations, engineering, projects, commercial, government and regulatory affairs, and strategy. - Demonstrated experience in integrating and coordinating diverse areas of asset management. - Strong commercial experience - Analytic but with a strategic orientation toward both value and risk - Exceptional influencing, interpersonal communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills, and high emotional intelligence, comfortable to drive change agenda with complex stakeholder management structures/senior stakeholders. - Comfortable with ambiguity and incomplete data in making recommendations - Ability to initiate new strategic thinking. - Strong project management skills, including ability to manage projects where many inputs and activities not entirely inside oneâ?™s direct control - Sufficient clout within the Shell to able to access resources to help the JV and to coordinate or otherwise manage Shellâ?™s subject matter experts, and other day-to-day interactions with regard to the JV - Experience in contract management - 15+ years of professional experience - Demonstrated strong or distinctive performance in previous roles - Strong personal network inside Shell and the industry - literacy in Chinese, and Fluency in Mandarin, while cultural understanding are essential. - Experience of doing business in China Sensitivity, diplomacy and tact combined with a firm resolve are required personality characteristics. Demonstrated evidence of Enterprise first values and behaviours will be taken into account during the selection process.
