HiredChina Invited to Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) to Interpret China's Job Market for International Students

On December 11, 2025, Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) hosted the "Patriotic Education Practice: Knowing China Through Action" series of lectures, focusing on employment opportunities and career development paths for foreigners in China. The event featured two sessions. Katherine, CMO of HiredChina, served as the keynote speaker for the first session, delivering a practical presentation on "China's Job Market" to the attending international students.

Katherine began by outlining the fundamental conditions for legal employment in China for foreigners, then reviewed industries with high demand for foreign talent today—such as technology, education, foreign trade, and cross-border e-commerce. Drawing on real-world cases, she explained key aspects including visa types, work permits, and cultural adaptation, guiding international students on what to prepare in advance, which skills are most valued by employers, and how to plan their internship and job search timelines effectively.

During the interactive session, many international students asked questions regarding their academic backgrounds, language proficiency, and internship experiences, to which Katherine provided specific advice. As a human resources firm with long-term experience serving foreign talents and overseas enterprises, we understand that information asymmetry is often the first hurdle for international students seeking jobs in China. The purpose of this lecture was precisely to help them overcome this barrier.

In the future, HiredChina will continue entering more campuses to build communication bridges between international students and overseas enterprises, enabling smoother and more efficient talent mobility.
