Overview
Back & Rosta is a pioneer of cultural digitization and intelligent museum solutions, established in 2001 with its headquarters in Budapest, Hungary. In 2008, Back & Rosta founded its research and development base in Shanghai in order to transfer foreign technologies and to create innovative new applications for the Chinese cultural industry. Through years of working with leading institutions in China, such as the National Museum of China, the Inner Mongolia Museum, the Shanghai Nature Museum, the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, the Wuhan Museum, and numerous other large, medium and small venues, Back & Rosta has accumulated a wealth of knowledge about exhibitions and trends of the museum and cultural industry in China. As an institutional member of the Association for Chinese Museums, a member of the City Museums Special Commitee, the Memorial Halls Special Committee, the Shanghai Multimedia Association, as well as other professional groups, Back & Rosta is an active sponsor of academic research, cultural and education programs, and a facilitator of international exchange between Chinese and foreign experts.
