Job Responsibilities
Ivypedia is opening up a new branch in Nanjing, and we are looking for an American Branch manager to operate alongside a local partner. This position has two areas of responsibility. First, the manager is responsible for client acquisition. With Ivypedia central office's support, the Nanjing branch will advertise to, meet, and sign students in Nanjing. Second the branch manager would do the actual consulting with clients. This means brainstorming and editing essays, constructing activity lists, interview prep, school choice strategy, and generally assisting with all aspects of the application process. There is a good base salary per month and a commission bonus on top, which should put the monthly salary into the 20-25K per month range. Work hours are extremely flexible. This is not a standard 9-5 job. You only need to be in the office when clients are around, otherwise most work can be done from home. Vacation time is plentiful as well.
