Job Responsibilities
Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the production team, including supervisors, line managers, and production staff. Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands while optimizing resources and minimizing waste. Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet the company’s strict quality standards. Work closely with the quality control team to implement quality assurance procedures. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Budget Management: Manage the production budget, including labor, materials, and equipment costs. Ensure cost-effective operations without compromising quality. Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and leading safety initiatives. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including design, procurement, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including key metrics, challenges, and improvement strategies.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a production management role within the furniture industry. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing large production teams. In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards in the furniture industry. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient in production planning software and other relevant tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
