Job Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end development, production, and monetization of original Malay content, particularly drama series. Manage the entire content creation process, from concept development to post-production, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Identify and collaborate with writers, directors, actors, and other creative talent to bring fresh, engaging stories to life. Oversee script development, casting, filming, editing, and overall production activities. Work closely with internal teams (marketing, legal, finance, etc.) to ensure smooth workflow and project alignment with company objectives. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including production houses, talent agencies, and distributors. Ensure all content produced meets iQIYI's quality standards and adheres to local regulations. Drive the monetization strategy for original content, including advertising, sponsorship, and other revenue streams. Manage budgets, contracts, and schedules to deliver high-quality productions efficiently.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in content production, with a focus on Malay original content. Proven track record of developing, producing, and delivering successful TV series or films. Strong understanding of the local media landscape and audience preferences in Malaysia. Experience in managing the full production lifecycle, from concept development to final delivery. Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Fluency in Malay and English is required; Mandarin is a plus.
