Job Responsibilities

Market and Competitor Analysis: Analyse customer needs, current market trends, and assess competitors' products to identify opportunities for product development, differentiation, and strategic partnerships. Subject Matter Expertise: Master product specifications and requirements, becoming the go-to expert for all product-related inquiries. Product Lifecycle Management: Lead the execution of all product lifecycle processes, including product and market research, planning, positioning, roadmap development, and product launches, in collaboration with the marketing manager. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with service, production, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and product releases. Inventory and Availability Management: Oversee inventory turnover and product availability by reviewing and adjusting inventory forecasts for both saleable and demonstration stock. Go-to-Market Execution: Launch new products according to predefined go-to-market plans, analysing product requirements, regulatory needs, and development programs while preparing ROI analyses. Pricing Strategy: Set product pricing by leveraging market research, production, and sales cost data, while anticipating volume and accounting for special costing needs. Demand Planning Support: Assist in CRM compliance and pipeline analysis to forecast demand and optimise inventory levels. Sales Training: Support product training initiatives and promote knowledge adoption within the sales team for designated product lines. KOL Network Development: Actively build and nurture a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) network for product validation and reference leveraging. Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends and product knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in relevant professional networks and societies. Marketing Compliance: Ensure marketing materials and collateral are compliant and effectively used by the sales team. Team Collaboration: Contribute to the success of the broader team by collaborating with local account managers and achieving related results as needed.

Job Requirements

Tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g., healthcare, medical nursing, paramedical) Extensive experience in a product specialty role within Patient Monitoring capital equipment business. Extensive product knowledge and in-depth understanding of the Patient Monitoring portfolio. Experience of working in a global business with interaction across various locations. Effective communication, presentation, and networking skills. Proven success in building strong KOL relationships. Results focused, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
