Job Description
Location: Mexico City
We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to lead strategy, content, influencers, and community growth for our tech and lifestyle brands across Mexico and LATAM. This role combines strategy + hands-on execution and requires deep understanding of Mexico’s digital culture and gaming/tech audiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute localized social media strategies across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms
- Plan monthly/quarterly content calendars aligned with launches, campaigns, and brand goals
- Lead content production (short videos, TikToks, reels, UGC, product showcases, event content)
- Manage community engagement, fan groups, and sentiment monitoring across key channels
- Identify and manage influencers/KOLs, negotiate partnerships, and coordinate seeding & creator campaigns
- Support product launches, retail promotions, and local events with integrated social media plans
- Track KPIs (reach, engagement, retention, CTR, conversion) and optimize based on insights
- Collaborate with PR, marketing, e-commerce, and HQ teams to align social efforts with broader campaigns
Requirements
- 5–10 years of social media experience in tech, gaming, mobile, lifestyle, or consumer electronics
- Proven experience managing large-scale social accounts (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube)
- Strong understanding of Mexico’s digital culture, gaming communities, and trending content formats
- Hands-on ability to create and produce short-form videos (reels, TikToks)
- Experience managing influencers/KOLs and executing creator campaigns
- Native Spanish and professional English proficiency
- Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze social metrics and optimize content performance
- Experience with Chinese brands, MercadoLibre/DTC campaigns, or gaming livestream/content is a plus
