Job Description
1. Deliver high-quality IGCSE British Literature lessons strictly in accordance with the official Cambridge curriculum framework, covering literary text analysis, poetry appreciation, drama study, and academic writing, to help students master core knowledge and exam skills.
2. Design student-centered teaching strategies suitable for senior school learners, cultivate students’ English critical thinking, literary accomplishment, and global vision, and stimulate their interest in English literature.
3. Complete full-cycle teaching work including lesson preparation, course material development, in-class teaching, homework correction, student progress tracking, and periodic academic assessment.
4. Participate in regular academic seminars, curriculum training, and teaching meetings, cooperate with the international department to optimize the curriculum system, and support daily academic management.
5. Provide targeted after-class tutoring for students with weak academic performance to help them achieve excellent results in IGCSE examinations.
Requirements
1. Native English speaker with authentic pronunciation and fluent full-English teaching capability.
2. Bachelor’s degree or above in English, Education, British Literature, or other related majors.
3. Possess IGCSE / A-Level relevant teaching qualifications and be familiar with Cambridge international curriculum standards and assessment systems.
4. At least 2 years of formal senior school IGCSE or A-Level British Literature teaching experience; candidates with international school working background are highly preferred.
5. Passionate about education, responsible in teaching, good at classroom management and communication, with team spirit and recognition of international educational philosophy.
