Job Description
1. Design and teaching foundational mathematics courses at the university level, including Calculus (single-variable and multivariable calculus), Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics, Computational Methods (Numerical Methods), Differential Equations and their numerical solutions, while also instructing students in using software to solve mathematical problems (e.g., MATLAB, Mathematica, C++, Python).
2. Collaborate with faculty from relevant student majors to design practical teaching modules that integrate mathematics with specific disciplinary applications, ensuring course content reflects real-world use cases.
3. Develop engineering modules applied in the “Learning Factory” environment and actively promote experimental mathematics projects within practice-embedded industry internships.
4. Contribute to the academic community through research output and scholarly activities.
5. Participate in the design and optimization of syllabi, textbooks, and teaching resources.
6. Integrate AI-powered educational tools to enhance instruction and align courses with practice-integrated education principles.
7. Mentor students in academic, career, and internship planning.
Requirements
1. PhD in Applied Mathematic or a relevant discipline.
2. Practical experience in Digital Technologies, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Digital Logistics, Business Administration, Business Inform. Systems, International Business Mgmt, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering is highly preferred.
3. Prior study experience abroad will be an advantage.
4. Capable of delivering courses entirely in English with professional proficiency.
5. Experience with programming languages, numerical simulation, or AI-enhanced teaching tools is preferred.
6. English is required (B2 or above); German is desirable.
